I'm a bit of a tour junkie and have taken most of the guided tours Seattle has to offer. I've now taken three tours by Jake over the past three years and believe
she is up there with the best tour guides in Seattle. She picks you up in a white van that is very comfortable and takes you to popular neighborhoods and neighborhoods tourists would not normally go.
She has rich and well researched stories and nice pacing. She offers the right balance of local history and ghost/crime gossip. I really enjoy Jake's tours and would recommend to anyone.

I really enjoyed both tours. I love that picture and confirmed it's not my finger as you can still see all of your body! Amazing! Enjoy the other pics as well!

Thanks so much for a great tour! My folks have thanked me over and over for taking them and when they visit again they want to take the other tours! It was a great day.

Thank you so much for the "killer" tour last night Jake! Our group had a phenomenal time. Educational, intriguing, and just flat out fun! -Ayla Jan 17, 2011

This has got to be the strangest thing that I have ever experienced. After capturing that video at the massacre site last night, I was thoroughly freaked out but even that has nothing on this. I woke up this morning and got out my camera to show the video to my hubby and stepson and I turned on the camera, and the video is gone. There were still two snapshots that I took at the cemetery, but the video is gone. I have no explanation for this, I have no idea what could have possibly happened, my camera was in my purse all night, untouched. At this moment, I am working with the IT guy at my work to investigate what happened from a technical standpoint. He is installing data recovery software that should be able to restore the video if it was legitimately deleted. I will let you know as soon as possible if we can recover it, if not, I have absolutely no idea what could have happened....?
Bizarre.... Have you ever heard of anything like this?

Hello Jake!
My friends and I took your Ghost Tour on Oct. 30th, and wanted share a ghostly photo we snapped from the cemetery above Georgetown. (see attached) In the photo, note that the entire image is out of focus except for a white mist at the lower left portion of the photo. I think my camera was set to auto focus and it honed in on this white blur. This may be nothing, but we had fun thinking it was a ghost! (goes without saying, but photo shop was not used)
Thanks for a wonderful Halloween, we greatly enjoyed the tour and will spread the word! Angie Tomisser (aka - Lindsay Lohan - that night!)
It was VERY fun. I learned alot about Seattle which was a surprise since I have been roaming the streets since my youth........!It would be nice to have a little itinerary for the adventure--this might present a privacy issue however because many of the places we saw were occupied by individuals and families--she wouldn't have to put the addresses however--maybe "haunted George town castle"........King County Grave Yard--and a little poop sheet about different type of ghosts--etc etc. She had alot of material which was very interesting.
So, sounds like it was another successful event and I'm sure tonight's will be as well... Thanks Jake!

I went on the Seattle Spirit Tour last night and really enjoyed it. The tour around Seattle with Jake was informative and with a nice balance of fun, seriousness, and respect. I heard a lot that I didn't know, and everything I was aware of she was spot-on about. I liked that she dressed up in a vampire-style costume, too. All-in-all an enjoyable evening, appropriate for both the art on display and the time of year.

Hi Jake: My name is Anita. I took a class that you gave at NSCC then took your tour a little over three years ago, just before I relocated to the San Francisco area. Bought your DVD because I enjoyed the tour so much. Well, three years later I am back here in Seattle and still telling everyone who'll listen how great your tour is. I have three friends who are interested in early November, can you tell me what dates would be possible. Thank you. Anita Oct 2010
Hi Jake
Just wanted to thank you for a great tour tonight. We all agreed it was probably the best tour we have had in Seattle and we have been on quite a few!
Take care. Jesse July 30, 2010
My boyfriend and I came up to Seattle for our spring break and wanted something fun to do in Seattle. So, we looked and looked and we finally found this Murder and Mystery Tour. We took the Capitol Hill one. Jake is simply an amazing story teller. She intrigues you from the minute you step into that van. We saw things and parts of Seattle that we never would have known about if she hadn't showed us. The tour is definitely worth more than the $28. You get over two hours of her showing you around for that great price. We had a blast and when we come back next year we will be going on the Queen Anne tour!

"The Mystery tour went so well. Everyone just loved it. I think it is a keeper. She was so good - prepared, well-planned, articulate, knowledgeable and personable. She also incorporated history and landmarks in Seattle which broadened the topic and made it even more interesting." Poulsbo Senior Center Mar 29, 2010
